3. Rseries 3D Digital Modeling

Once an order is confirmed, the Rseries engineering team initiates the design phase by developing a high-precision 3D model tailored to your wheel specification.

This model defines the wheel’s core structural framework, covering key elements such as spoke profile, concavity, barrel construction, hub geometry, and overall proportion. Each dimension is carefully set to ensure accuracy and structural reliability.

Throughout the modelling process, visual balance and engineering feasibility are assessed together, ensuring the final design delivers refined aesthetics while meeting performance and manufacturing requirements.

The completed 3D model becomes the technical blueprint for all subsequent manufacturing stages, forming the foundation for precise machining and consistent quality.


4. FEA Structural Validation (The Rseries Standard)

Before a single chip of aluminum is carved, every bespoke design is subjected to a rigorous Finite Element Analysis (FEA) within the Rseries technical lab. This digital stress-testing phase is critical for optimizing the strength-to-weight ratio—ensuring maximum weight reduction (unsprung mass) without compromising safety. Our simulations include:

  • Radial Fatigue & Cornering Stress: Simulating hundreds of thousands of cycles under heavy load to ensure long-term durability.

  • Dynamic Impact Resistance: Testing the wheel's ability to withstand sudden curb impacts or road debris.

  • Load Distribution Analysis: Optimizing spoke geometry to distribute vehicle weight evenly across the barrel.

5. Photorealistic Rendering & FOC Approval

To bridge the gap between imagination and reality, our design team generates high-resolution, photorealistic renderings. These 360-degree visualizations allow you to inspect:

  • Finish Depth & Texture: How light interacts with your chosen brushed, polished, or powder-coated finish.

  • Concavity & Profile: The exact depth and curvature of the wheel face relative to your vehicle's fenders.

  • Technical Alignment: Placement of valve stems, lug seats, and center caps.

Once the design is perfected, we issue the Forged Order Confirmation (FOC). This document serves as the final technical contract, locking in all offset (ET), PCD, and center bore specifications to ensure a guaranteed perfect fitment.

Your design is brought to life on the Rseries bespoke production line. Unlike cast or flow-formed wheels, our process begins with a solid billet of Aerospace-grade T6061-T6 aluminum.

  • 10,000-Ton Forging: The raw aluminum is subjected to immense pressure to create a dense grain structure, resulting in a wheel that is significantly stronger and lighter than traditional alternatives.

  • 5-Axis CNC Machining: We utilize high-speed, multi-axis CNC technology to carve intricate designs with micron-level precision.

  • Hand-Finished Artistry: After machining, each wheel is hand-prepped and finished by specialists to ensure the surface is free of any imperfections before the final coating is applied.

 

7. Multi-Stage Quality Assurance

At the conclusion of the production cycle, the Rseries Quality Control (QC) team conducts a comprehensive "Full-Spectrum" inspection. This is not a spot check; every individual wheel is audited for:

  • Dimensional Accuracy: Verifying radial and lateral runout to ensure a vibration-free ride.

  • Finish Consistency: Spectrophotometer testing to ensure color uniformity across the set.
